DAY 01 – LIMA / CUSCO / CITY TOURDAY 01 – LIMA / CUSCO / CITY TOUR

AM Arrival to Cusco, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. At the afternoon 13.50 HRS. start City Tour + close ruins recognized as “The Archeological Capital of the Americas”, “Cultural Patrimony of the World”. Cusco is an example alive of the meeting of two cultures where simultaneaously live present and past.We will begin with the guided sight of the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha. Then we will address to the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo (carved rock laberynth), Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay (sacred place of the water). 18.45 HRS. return to Cusco.

DAY 02 –  CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CUSCO

7.50 AM Pick up from your hotel to then start the tour to the Sacred Valley with the visiting to touristic places of historic- social and architectonic interest, located to the north-west of Cusco city as: the indian market and archeological center of Pisaq the town of Urubamba, place where we will have an included buffet lunch, afterwards we will visit the archeological center of Ollantaytambo where we will appreciate a series of terraces and carved in stone ones, finally we will visit Chinchero, its temple, the craft market of textiles and watch the process of dyeing and spinning 18.45 HRS.  return to Cusco.

DAY  03 – SALKANTAY TREK 5D/4N CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA

Our guide will pick you up early at morning,for your transfer by touristic bus for 3 hrs. approx. towards Mollepata, place for taking breakfast while our support personnel gets the horses ready to take all the equipment of camping and kitchen. Afterwards the walking will start towards Silcakancha lunch, afterwards we will continue to the town of Soraypampa, place where we will take dinner and we will spend the first night of camping.

DAY 04  –  SORAYPAMPA /  SALKANTAY /  CHAllWAY

After breakfast, we will start the walking of we depart towards the community of Huayracmachay, in the journey we will be able to appreciate the imposing thaw of Salkantay (4600 masl) and its beautiful landscapes, once located in Huayracmachay we will take lunch and we will be able to rest a short time. Following we will continue with the walking through the mountains until arriving to the camping of Challway (2950 masl), place where we will have dinner and we will spend the second night of camping.

DAY 05 – CHALLWAY /  LA PLAYA  /  SANTA TERESA.  

After breakfast, start walking descend through the flora and fauna of the tropical zone of Cusco to La Playa where we have lunch and then continue to Santa Teresa once already located in the village, we the opportunity to visit the thermal medicinal baths Cocal Mayu S /. 10.00 soles (optional) then we will spend the third night of camp.

DAY 06 –  SANTA TERESA /  AGUAS CALIENTES

After breakfast, we will walk 3 hours approx. toward the hydroelectric of Machupicchu, place in which lunch will be served, then we will continue with the walking for 3 more hours, until arriving to the pintouresque town of Aguas Calientes 2000 masl place where we will spend the last night in a hostal (double and triple rooms with private bath) Also, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a repairing bath in the spring falls of Aguas Calientes entrance S/. 10.00 soles (optional) dinner. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 07 –  MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY /  CUSCO

AM early, at morning after breakfast, an ascending walk towards the majestic Archeological Park of MACHUPICCHU 2400 masl. When arriving we will have the opportunity to observe the sun rising afterwards, guided visit of 2 hrs. approx.. It results astonishing for the visitor, to contemplate the enchantment and marvelous achievement of the prehispanic architects, of having constructed this citadel of stones among summits and cliffs,  afterwards we will have free time to take photos, energy, etc. (option) you may go up to Waynapicchu previous reservation, add US$ 16.00 ). At afternoon 18.45 HRS or 21.30 HRS.  We will go on board by touristic train of return towards the city of Cusco.

DAY 08  –  CUSCO / LIMA.

In time we will pass by the hotel for your transfer to the airport or land terminal.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Water for the first day, purifying pills, repelent for mosquitoes, sun blocker, poncho raincoats, extra money for emergencies (optional) sleeping bag (-15°) bathing wear, cap and sun glasses, shoes for walking, flash light, photo camera, snack (granola, chocolates, dry fruits, etc.) two back packs, a personal one of 10 lts and another of 30 lts., equipment for personal hygiene (toilet paper, towel, etc.), original passport and Student Carnet (ISIC) up date. (adequate for sporting people that likes walking, enjoy nature and adventure, not for hipertenses or cardiacs).

NOTE: the horses will be able to help with 5 kilos of your baggage per person, during the first three days.  Service does not include, first breakfast, last lunch, bus up way and down way US$ 24.00 (optional), entrance to the spring falls of Aguas Calientes S/. 10 soles (optional). Likewise if you wish, we have extra horse for seat other of load for the first 03 days with extra payment. (consult)
