DAY 01 – LIMA / CUSCO / CITY TOUR

AM Arrival to Cusco, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. At the afternoon 13.50 HRS. start City Tour + close ruins recognized as “The Archeological Capital of the Americas”, “Cultural Patrimony of the World”. Cusco is an example alive of the meeting of two cultures where simultaneaously live present and past.We will begin with the guided sight of the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Then we will address to the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo (carved rock laberynth), Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay (sacred place of the water). 18.45 HRS. Return to Cusco.

DAY 02 –  CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CUSCO

7.50 AM Pick up from your hotel to then start the tour to the Sacred Valley with the visiting to touristic places of historic- social and architectonic interest, located to the north-west of Cusco city as: the indian market and archeological center of Pisaq the town of Urubamba, place where we will have an included buffet lunch, afterwards we will visit the archeological center of Ollantaytambo where we will appreciate a series of terraces and carved in stone ones, finally we will visit Chinchero, its temple, the craft market of textiles and watch the process of dyeing and spinning 18.45 HRS.  Return to Cusco.

DAY 03 – CUSCO / MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO

5.00AM very early,  pick up from your hotel for the transfer to the train station. The train goes through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the journey we will watch beautiful Andean landscapes y tropical valleys up to arriving to the town of Aguas Calientes and be able to go on board into the bus going up 25 minutes that will drive us to the wonderful lost city of the Incas MACHUPICCHU 2400 masl where you will have a guided visit for 2 hours approx. Afterwards we will have free time to take photos, energy, etc. At the afternoon in time, we will go on board into the train of return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 04 –  CHOQUEQUIRAO 4D/3N. – CUSCO  / CACHORA  /  CHIQUISCA

5.30AM Pick up from the hotel for the trip to the town of Cachora passing through the towns of Izcuchaca until we reach the Archaeological Complex of Tarawasi, we continue our trip to the Cunyac bridge, we will pass through the district of Curawasi and Saywite to finally reach Cachora (10: 00 AM.) There we prepare the pack animals and the muleteers and we start our trek up a gentle slope until we reach the pass of Capuliyoc (2800 masl) where we will have lunch after two hours of walking, and then head towards the town of Chiquisca (1930 masl). We will have the opportunity to observe magnificent views, beautiful landscapes, warm weather, glaciers of the Vilcabamba mountain range and the impressive abyss of the Apurímac, in this place we will have our first camp.

DAY  05 –  CHIQUISCA  / PLAYA ROSALINA /  MARAMPATA /  CHOQUEQUIRAO 

After breakfast, we continue the ascent, until arriving at Marampata (2910 masl) where we will have lunch, and from where it is possible, with luck, to see the splendid flight of the condor, to 1 hour more of walk we will arrive to Choquequirao, and immediately our guide will will drive through the archaeological complex, where we can appreciate this spectacular and lonely place and then descend to an area where the second camp will be. Overnight in camp.

DAY   06 –  CHOQUEQUIRAO /  CHISQUISCA

After breakfast we will travel with the guide throughout the Archaeological Complex observing all the wonder and architecture of this complex. And then continue with the walk back to Chikiska camp, during the road we will stop in Rosalina Beach to have lunch and swim in the Apurimac River. Arriving at Chikiska. We will have dinner and we will prepare the camping equipment to spend the night on the last night.

DAY  07 –  CHIQUISCA  /  CAPULIYOC /  CACHORA / CUSCO.

After a fortifying breakfast in Chiquisqa we return by the same road until we reach the pass of Capuliyoc and from here it is two hours more until the town of Cachora this is a much smoother stretch and we will be arriving 12:00 m approx. On the way we will appreciate the exotic flora and fauna of the place, as well as views of imposing snow-capped mountains and the impressive Apurímac canyon, we will have lunch included and then continue with the return to the city of Cusco. Arriving at approximately 5.00PM.
Overnight in Cusco.

DAY  08 –  CUSCO / LIMA.

At opportune time, we will pass by the hotel for its transfer to the airport or terrestrial terminal.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Water for the first day, purifying pills, mosquito repellents, sunscreen, rain poncho, extra money in soles for emergencies (optional), sleeping bag -10º, swimwear, hat and sunglasses, walking shoes, flashlight, camera, Snack (granola, chocolates, dried fruit, etc.), two backpacks, a staff of 10 liters and another of 30 liters, personal hygiene equipment. (Toilet paper, towel, etc.), original passport and current student’s Carnét. (Suitable for athletes who like to walk, enjoy nature and adventure, not cardiac or hypertensive).

NOTE: Horses can help with the trek with 5 kilos of their luggage per person. In the service does not include, first breakfast, last lunch, Likewise if you want, we have extra horse saddle other load, for four days, with additional payment. (Consult)
