DAY 01 – LIMA / CUSCO / CITY TOUR

AM Arrival to Cusco, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. At the afternoon 13.50 HRS. start City Tour + close ruins recognized as “The Archeological Capital of the Americas”, “Cultural Patrimony of the World”. Cusco is an example alive of the meeting of two cultures where simultaneaously live present and past.We will begin with the guided sight of the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha. Then we will address to the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo (carved rock laberynth), Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay (sacred place of the water). 18.45 HRS. return to Cusco.

DAY 02 –  CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CUSCO

7.50 AM Pick up from your hotel to then start the tour to the Sacred Valley with the visiting to touristic places of historic- social and architectonic interest, located to the north-west of Cusco city as: the indian market and archeological center of Pisaq the town of Urubamba, place where we will have an included buffet lunch, afterwards we will visit the archeological center of Ollantaytambo where we will appreciate a series of terraces and carved in stone ones, finally we will visit Chinchero, its temple, the craft market of textiles and watch the process of dyeing and spinning 18.45 HRS.  return to Cusco.

DAY 03 – CUSCO / MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO

5.00AM very early,  pick up from your hotel for the transfer to the train station. The train goes through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the journey we will watch beautiful Andean landscapes y tropical valleys up to arriving to the town of Aguas Calientes and be able to go on board into the bus going up 25 minutes that will drive us to the wonderful lost city of the Incas MACHUPICCHU 2400 masl where you will have a guided visit for 2 hours approx. Afterwards we will have free time to take photos, energy, etc. At the afternoon in time, we will go on board into the train of return to Cusco.

DAY 04 – TOUR TO MANU (JUNGLE 3D/2N) CULTURAL ZONE CUSCO / PAUCARTAMBO / SAN PEDRO

AM very early,  Departure from the city of Cusco at morning in one of our vehicles especially equipted for the route. In the journey we will visit the Pre-inca Tombs of Ninamarca, known as “Chullpas” and the pintoresque colonial town of Paucartambo. Follwing with the trip we will ascend up to the abra of Acjanacu at 3850 masl. From here we will start the descending going through the Cloudy Forest, a zone very rich in endemic species. We will spend our first night comfortably installed in our platform outdoors “San Pedro Lodge.”

DAY 05 –  SAN PEDRO / PUERTO ATALAYA / ERIKA LODGE

Very early we will appreciate the interesting dance of cortege of the Small Cock of the Rocks, national bird of Peru, from a camouflaged platform; after having breakfast, we will go by bus from the Cloud Forest towards Pilcopata, afterwards we will have the option of making rafting class I, II por a time of 01 hour up to the Port of Atalaya, then we will start a journey of approximately 50 minutes by vessel (boat) towards the Private Reserve “Erika” Lodge reception (lunch) in the afternoon we will walk by the interesting trails from this transitional spot between high jungle and low jungle, we will also make the Canopy Tour (sliding by a system of rails between tree and tree). Return to Erika Lodge and overnight.

DAY 06  –  ERIKA LODGE – PARROT CLAY LICK– CUSCO

After taking breakfast, we will go on board our vessel in which we will sail for 10 minutes for  addressing to the Collpa, a clay wall of the river where different species of parrots as the parrot of blue head, the parrot of white eye and possibly the guacamayo among others come down to extract and lick pieces of clay that contain minerals necessary for their dietetic balance. When ending this daily activity, we will continue in the boat towards the port of Atalaya, where the bus that takes us to the City of Cusco, arriving to it at night at 9:30 p.m.Overnight in Cusco.

IMPORTANT: by rainy season, this program is recomended perform from April 01 to October 30.

DAY 07 –  CUSCO / LIMA.

In time we will pass by the hotel for your transfer to the airport or land terminal.
